The Official Man Utd Thread - Part 3.

Nailed it. Utd are victims of their own global success. Only "legacy" fans will boycott but there's more than enough day trippers to take their seats. Day trippers are probably much better spenders anyway.

Only way to force out the glazers are shit results and lack of star/insta players. It would take a few years of plumetting revenue to have the desired effect.

But as you said Dan, might as well as they won't be a force again with the glazers.

There's a lot of good points there, but AFAIK there's still 45,000 season tickets in Manchester and another 15 to 20 close by.

Its pretty simple, there's not going to be a queue for season ticket renewals after another few seasons of getting roundly trashed by the top sides and huffing and puffing against the rest.

United are going nowhere with cloggers like Maguire and McTominay.

All they're doing with the Glazers is loading the club with debt and cementing their slide into irrelevance.

33 points behind City and no business done by the end of June. De Jong clearly isn't interested so move on. Theyve wasted far too long on this player.

A season ticket boycott hasn't a hope if there's a huge waiting line for those said tickets. That's even if the glazers sell them on.

Errah they're out to Bangkok now to play the ssbs in an exhibition match to sell noodles.

This window is make or break for Utd. If they can get de Jong without paying the manyoo tax it'll be a great start.

Yeah, one guy I follow in twitter decided not to renew. Got a "courtesy" letter 8 hours after the deadline thanking him for his support and advising him his seat was sold.
