Didn't improve enough 2nd half. Particularly poor at getting shots off when in good positions. Ball sticking under players feet too much.

Great for Firmino to check out at Anfield with a typically inventive finish.

Did well to make Newcastle & Man Utd sweat for 4th, but there was always just too much ground to make up.

Very entertaining game but draw is no good, we wouldn’t have hunted down the top 4 in any case IMO. Villa better side for first half but eventually a siege of pressure was enough to force an equaliser. Great to see Firmino score on his final Anfield appearance. The upside is there’s only 1 game left in what has been a fairly pitiful season.
