Much better standard of opposition here than the hopeless bozos they were playing in the US tour. Fair play to Santa Ponsa.
OrchardY's posts are a bit like Corrie, you might not have seen it for ages but it doesn't really matter as its basically the same thing over and over.
Our very own Ken Barlow.
Lovely story, Nelly. I’m sure he will remember that day forever.Just back north of the wall after a 4 hour drive.
Thought the game would be a good introduction to Liverpool for the small fella (my son, not Zubizumendi) but Anfield and The Kop was pretty noisy.
Decent game. Defense were slow to get going, Sevilla attacked down their left all game (no shock there) and that's where the goal came from. They counter play was lightning though. A lot depends on anyone of the front 3 holding the ball on and then overloading past the player.
Gravenberch took a while to get going, got a lot of shit ball from the CBs and Slot was coaching him throughout the game.
Dommy Z was brilliant I thought.
Anyways, the small man settled into the game after and was raving about it the whole way back in the car. I just hope he doesn't need to live through 1992 to 2005 like I did!!
Liverpool fielding well over 100 million quids worth of attacking talent in both games, the poor aul paupers
Show me where I've ever said United don't spend money on the team?Manyoo fielding over €200m worth of defensive talent in one game.
And are on the verge spunking another €75m on two Bayern cast-offs.
F****n Glazers.
