the official betting thread.

I know BetBuilders have lots of in-built margin, but bet365 odds are typically best of the pile

I reckon there could be some angles to play with these 2 offers

https://www.bet365.com/#/OF/ -> 25% winnings boost on BetBuilders

I thinking it's worth factoring in the following:

- Pay particular attention to games you think could go to ET (especially 0-0 after 90mins, given the bore draw offer)
- Bias your player-specific selections towards guys who would likely last the full 120mins, if required (e.g. Ruben Neves has been subbed in the 65-75 mins mark in all 3 games. Unlikely he'd still be on in ET).
- For shots / shots on target, consider guys @ big prices who don't typically log many shots (e.g. CBs who might come up for late/ET corners, midfielders who may end up taking a few punts from distance when legs tire)

What do you reckon? Anything else worth considering?

Sounds like a decent strategy Phil.

They're also offering 25% extra winnings on bet builders which bumps up winnings by a decent amount.

Some good prices on thing like player to score and team to win for instance. Particularly Team A giants, vs team B making up the numbers type games.

France England for instance.

Yep, that's a decent bump if you construct your betbuilder smartly (...or want to swing for the stars).

With this offer in mind, it might be advisable for betbuilders to back player to score and Team A "to qualify" (as opposed "to win") - to keep the bet live in the event that it goes to ET.

An example for today: For Bruno AGS and Portugal it's 5/1 for Portugal to win - but 9/2 for them to qualify. IMHO well worth taking that size cut in odds to:

  • Get a Portugal ET or pens win onside
  • Give you potentially another 30mins for your player to score

If Ferran Torres plays I'd back Mazraoui to be carded w/ Skybet @ 11/2 (...as small as 10/3 elsewhere).

Torres is the 2nd most fouled Spanish player. Mazraoui has the 2nd highest tackles for Morocco (behind Hakimi @ right-back). Also, Sabiri is expected to play left of the midfield. He's on one yellow already so be reluctant to risk missing the quarters...might not provide great defensive cover for Mazraoui.

Aren't these bets 90mins only?
