The Official Arsenal Thread - Part 2

M8, United have been a dumpster fire all season long. No arguments here. Lets set that aside

£65 million pounds for that misfit Havertz, by a manager with supposed designs on winning the title was just bizarre tbh.

If they'd used it on someone like Toney or Watkins they'd probably be champions.

They're going nowhere with Arteta. How many more end of season collapses do ye have to see?

Yes, United’s season has been beyond pathetic with just as much money spent but yet it seems most of you want Ten Hag to be kept on.

Arsenal probably will come up short this year but with a higher points total and more goals scored and possibly the best goals against in the league.
So there’s clear progress being made.

So why would we get rid of Arteta but ye keep Ten Hag? SMC logic.

There's 115 reasons that helped Man City build a squad that never looks tired or short of options.

Those charges will be absorbed into this new luxury tax once its voted in you can be sure and the clubs with bottomless pockets will pay their way around any historical FFP breaches.

I thought Arsenal and Liverpool both looked knackered today...especially Arsenal in the second half who continued to press Villa and leave spaces in the middle of the pitch which Villa took advantage off.

Torres must have found Watkins feet 5 or 6 times alone after Arsenal were out of shape after chasing Villa's back 4 like their favourite Labrador.

Villa were superb second half. Arsenal had nothing in the tank imo.

Man City are in the groove now...plenty of rotation and using that deep squad very well.

Liverpool look completely bollocked at the moment. Tired mentally as much as physically. United really did a number on them 😳
Liverpool shouldn’t be physically tired. A lot of the players that played today are back from injury and a break but haven’t got rhythm. Liverpool’s squad today was full strength actually but I think overall the squad used a lot of mental energy to win too many games recently and it is very hard to go to the well over and over again.

Meanwhile City just steamroll teams and only use their mental energy in the CL, often to the point of collapse as well, in the past anyway. Arsenal missed a few chances and that soaked up some of their belief. Villa are a dangerous side though. There’s no excuse for losing at home to Palace but Villa can catch teams. They did beat City and Arsenal at home.

When all is said and done, City are just too good and this stage of the season only brings out the best in them. They wouldn’t lose to Palace or Villa, both of which they beat recently.

M8, you seem to be psychologically snagged on being unable to discuss Arteta without having to drag United into it

(I honestly dont care too much if they sack Baldy at this point. I dont think hes turning it around. But that's beside the point.)

Im not having a go at Arsenal or trying to get a rise from you. Arteta has yet again shown that he doesn't have what it takes to get Arsenal over the line. Is the top four cup enough for ye now? Seriously, after what went before?
