That's nothing to do with Munster though really, it's the schools themselves banning players from playing club rugby.

Why do they ban them from clubs .and do any club players actually have a chance

Was listening to Thornbirds (I know) on OTB and he made the suggestion that Munster should stop following Leinster on schools model as they don't have enough of them and instead they should remove the ban on playing with school and club. Being a second or third string at a school or not getting regular game time is not as good as playing with your club.
Connacht, he said are now allowing players to do both.
