I though his last 2 wins were questionable in that his opponents were called out early.

MMA and Pro Wrestling have always had huge connections no matter how much MMA die hards dispute it.

One of the earlier high profile "MMA" contests in Japan in June 1976 featured a fella by the name of Muhammed Ali Vs a pro wrestler called Antonio Inoki.
It was promoted in the states by Vince McMahon.
