An EIS may be required. Decision due end of Jan 2015.

If it wasn't for the GAA's greedy land grab and the desire to build a second pitch they would have the Stadium built by now! The fact that access, egress and parking for the stadium are contained in the Marina Park an EIS may delay things even further.

I doubt it. Maybe Simon Coveney will give them a few million for a public park in the same way he gave the GAA 30m for a private pairc.

Happy to hear a bridge will be built near the park allowing those from the Northside easy acces to it. Hopefully the council will provide adequate parking for those of us driving over.
