Absolute savage bassist. Himself and Joyce probably didn't get enough credit because of the other two, but they were as a good a rhythm section as any band could hope to have.

Very true, unusual even in a great band to have all the members at the top of their game for so many albums.

Both him and the drummer were suing Marr/Morrissey over royalties. Rourke settled out of court and there wasn't any hard feelings over it. The drummer had his day in court and won. Morrissey actively tells people not to buy their records because the drummer will be getting a big chunk of the royalties.

He wrote the music, Stephen wrote the lyrics. They both met in a pub in 2008 and it looked like they'd reform. Then in true Morrissey style, he flaked off. Thank feck they never cashed in.
