Pubs reopening June 29th

Thoughts johns place was further down the quays . Early morning place , his missis used to do the door . Great guy havnt seen him in years

Yeah, John graduated from the Left Bank to The Haven further down the quay towards St Mary's. I think the Left Bank was all he could afford after he blew the place in McCurtain Street.

Should we merge the two pub threads?

Well if it was good enough for Murphy's to take over Beamish.... ;)

Saw the video of yer wan out in the Harp on Women's Little Christmas btw. Stripper with the American Flag. There seemed to be more blokes watching than women. Were you in the video jimmy ;)

Ah Murphy’s is far superior to Guinness. Heineken far better than Bud and Carlsberg too.
Beamish is the best of stouts m8.

Irish made Heineken is pretty awful especially compared to the stuff the rest of Europe and even the north gets.
A pint poured in the Dam is completely different to one poured in Cork.
Of course reducing the alcohol to 4.3 instead of 5% is probably the main culprit.

Agreed on the Heineken - sad to say that not everything from the Northside is brilliant. Don't know what they do to Heineken in Lady's Well but they make a balls of it imho.

Murphys though, is a much better stout than Beamish (taste of burn) or Guinness (bitter dub piss) 😇
