Always a big ask for a young player to shine in a relegation battling team. Arguably he’d have been better off going down to the Championship where he’d be less likely to be on the back foot constantly.Norwich fans don't like his attitude in general and a lot of them want him gone.
He didn't play, but they didn't like that he was too pally with the Chelsea players after losing 7-0 at Stamford Bridge, he's a bad fit (too lightweight ) in their side for what they need in a relegation battle, and they have to listen to the media highlighting what a great prospect he is, when they see him every week and he's been generally crap. They don't care what kind of player he's going to be in two years time, because he won't be a Norwich player.
A the end of the day, its just football fans offering an opinion on a player. It's a non-story but because it involves a young player at one of the Big Six clubs, it probably constitutes 'abuse' or something similar.
Utterly disillusioned with footballers right now.
Lot of these lads are spotted early and treated as special from an early age. They know no better.Especially with the spoilt bastards at United. They seem to have no sense of how good they have it. Any bit of adversity and they piss and moan to the media.
He says he’s professional. Doesn’t sound like it. Shut up and get on with it. Rom is potentially a great striker but he lives in a comfort zone & downs tools when he’s asked to step out of it.
