New Arcade Fire Album

i think overall it is pretty strong, indeed a couple of weak points, but what album doesn't. There are some songs, like windowsill which are at least as striking as some of the songs on funeral (Which was not without its weak points, crown of love or Backseat anyone?)
how i love naysayers...

Crown of Love was the best track on their debut imo.

Was at the EP gig and saw them during the Neon Bible and The Suburbs tours. When they were at their best, basically. Their output after those first 3 albums went from patchy to very poor. Wouldn't bother with them now, unless maybe if they played Cork.

I'd also agree on those points.I absolutely loved Funeral when it came out,and went to EP in 2005,their gig was unreal;was very disappointed with Neon Bible,and have liked some of their recent stuff,but have never considered going to see them live again.If they came to Cork,I would consider it for sure..
