Apparently, as recently as last week, Limerick Animal Shelter were delighted to receive a stg£100k donation from a scottish QC (barrister type) who was dying and wanted to give something back to Limerick's animals (cough).

They were so happy that they all went off to a ceremony at one of their fundraisers where they were joined by the mayor of Limerick.

Then someone Googled him, and there he was in all his glory, picture and all.
