Kyle Hayes - a good GAA man?

I heard a report on that speeding case today, his solicitor mentioned they are going to appeal it.

155 kph............ who does this guy think he is FFS ?
In fairness to him the 9 cars he overtook were in the slow lane, and he sped up to get ahead of the last car before the lanes merged so as not to cut him off.

The headline in yesterday's paper gave the impression he overtook 9 cars on a single lane stretch of road.

The Judge also questioned the media interest.

Ok but how many of those cars were travelling the limit of 100kmh?
Headline misleading tbf but 100% dangerous driving.
Why not just over the 3/4/5 cars that may have been under the limit? Why over take cars that are at the limit?
He's a role model, when a Cork player was up for driving offences it was well documented and being a Cork Player meant nothing and I'm of the opinion it hampered his selection during the case.

There's no such thing as a slow lane. There's a normal lane and an overtaking lane. Overtaking people is no excuse for exceeding the speed limit by a huge amount.
