Remember The Girl That Got An NHS Boob Job? She's Up To Her Old Tricks Again

Do you remember Josie Cunningham? She's a celebrity wannabe that managed to wangle a boob job on the NHS. She also said she'd abort her baby for a place on Big Brother, but then changed her mind after she said she felt it kick for the first time.

So, after British tax payers funded her boob job earlier this year, she then went on to say that she would've had her baby aborted if she'd known it was a boy. Bear in mind that sex-selective abortion is illegal, so she could quite easily go to prison for doing so.

However, after discovering the sex of her child, the current mother-of-two from Leeds has been struggling to curb her boozing habits.

The evening I found out the sex of the baby was when I lit up my first cigarette. I’m not proud of it – but I couldn’t stop myself. It changed everything. Once I’d finished the cigarette I found it difficult to focus on anything positive, so I had a small glass of wine. My intention was to have one, but before I knew it I was on my second and I’d smoked a whole packet of fags. Now I’m smoking 20 a day. I knew it could harm my child but it didn’t stop me. Deep down I know I wouldn’t be smoking or drinking if I knew I was having a girl.

She's even had the cheek to compare having another boy instead of a girl to driving a run-of-the-mill motor instead of a luxury car. What planet does she live on?!

Josie says that she's not alone in this situation, and that a lot of women can't help but feel disappointed when they find out the sex of their child, but she's just not afraid to admit it.

According to Josie, she changed her mind about having an abortion when she received an email from a middle-aged woman undergoing IVF treatment who she said was so desperate for a baby she offered £5,000 for Josie's. The woman's heartache gave her second thoughts, and Josie turned for advice to a psychic.

The psychic she saw predicted that she'd be having a baby girl, which made her cut out her bad habits. However, once she discovered she'd be having another boy at her 23 week scan, she was devastated.

The nurse asked if I’d like to know the sex, and I was so excited to hear the words, "You’re having a baby girl". Then the nurse said "You’re having a boy". My heart sank and I felt sick to my stomach that I had sacrificed so much to have my first daughter, only to be told I was having a boy. It ruined the whole scenario. I went home that afternoon and cried non-stop.

We're unsure why you'd make a life changing decision based on that anyway, but there you go. As the child grows inside her, Josie admits she has lost all maternal instinct for her baby, and has stopped looking after herself.

The baby has two possible fathers; one a casual fling, the other a stranger she slept with while working briefly as a £1,000-an-hour escort.

Well, we hope for the kid's sake he doesn't find out what his Mum thought of him before he was born.

There is no way, NO WAY, someone paid a grand for an hour of her time.

My opinion on this:

Firstly, if the NHS decided that putting tits on a young woman with a congenital disorder inhibiting breast tissue growth is more worthy than paying for a toddler to have surgery for CP, that is not this girl's fault. Just because she happened to be on the receiving end of the goods, it does not mean that she is responsible for the little kid not getting her treatment funded.

Secondly, I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the surgery for cerebal palsy that the little one was in need of is not always suitable, and in some cases can only be performed by having the surgery in the US.

See this link: http://www.scope.org.uk/support/families/therapies/sdr

Thirdly, the erratic and strange behaviour of this Josie does indicate some kind of mental issues. go through the back catalogue and it is obvious that she has at least: attention seeking behaviour, low self esteem, impulsive behaviours could be argued....

Whether the lack of natural breast tissue affected her or not cannot be known, but as a woman I can say that if, as in this case, I had NO BREAST TISSUE whatsoever, I think that I would notice and so would my peers growing up around me. In a society that, judging by the amount of focus on a particular body shape, values a bust so highly it seems likely that she would have had self esteem issues.

Shame on the media for picking up on this and allowing this girl to keep on digging herself into a hole. Also, would the idiots picking on her on the bus have as much to say if the newspapers hadn't spoon fed their opinions to them.

Someone needs to care for this girl and her kids enough to make her stay out of the spotlight and concentrate on sorting her head out.

End of.

@ Chewy I agree with some of what you say but I hate the way nowadays personal responsibility is never taken in to account.

I mean how to you get to that level, it is up to each person to educate themselves and have some bit of fuckin cop on.
She's clever enough to blag some new tits so she can't be that stupid.
I agree with you on the newspapers though, exploiting the girl like that is pathetic but it is worrying how people like this exist in society, the product of a fast food/reality tv culture with no morals.

Too true, I agree with you on personal responsibility but who was supposed to point her in the right direction and didn't? I really do think she is an attention seeker with some deep rooted mental issues, these really need to be addressed otherwise in a few years time the pattern will repeat itself with her kids.

Just sad, really. I grew up on a council estate and I can honestly say that, in my experience, growing up with or without money can dictate, to a certain extent, where your life goes. I think the biggest influence is whether you have supportive parents or not, and lastly, it is down to what the individual can put up with and do with what they were given.

In an ideal world we would all have the right parental support, I would choose that over money any day of the week. :)
