Zappa was some man, although he was a superb guitar player , he was an outstanding muscian altogether.
I'm not sure if people remember, but Hendrix was a pop star like Prince. I wouldn't diss his studio work so much , except to say it was all a bit too much acidhead hippy dippy shit for me. Live was another matter, he was fucking appalling live, bum notes that would crack your teeth. Woodstock etc, fucking horrible, he was a showman tbf in his feathery scarf.
Boom boom boys opinions have no relevance in a discussion about music imo also.
Just to add, Gallagher pisses all over Hendrix, even Hendrix knew that despite being constantly drugged out of his tiny mind.
