Rejoining the EU would solve the problem nicely.Mr Jim Allister KC MP today in WM
"We must end the partitioning of our kingdom by a foreign border.".
Colum Eastwood MP - Partition's terrible.
I was't aware of that . Could you clarify? How is that possible? There’s bound to be an Irish Water thread. As an aside, they’re the biggest greenhouse gas emitters in Ireland.
Methane and nitrous oxide releases during sewage treatment.I was't aware of that . Could you clarify? How is that possible?
im not fully up to speed on this, but if you leave it by itself (e,g pump it into the sea) it’ll oxidize over time (and no methane would form).Whether you treat the sewage or not, those gasses will be released - natural breakdown of the effluent. Releasing the effluent untreated into our waterways would not solve that - but would create other problems.
We need to get the people to create less faeces.. Maybe a faeces tax.
Still, maybe Keir today gone tomorrow? We had great fun in this thread since Brexit with the shenanigans of the Tories but now with Starmer I feel things will be less entertaining.
