Ah stop, it is an asylum seeker or refugee that did it. The protest march tells you that. This crime is directly related to the immigration shiteshow in this country. If they were foisted on a tiny village, the crime wouldn't have happened and this 15 year old would have a normal life going forward,The guards have issued a statement on this, and you can see from twitter (and from parts of this thread) that the people who desperately wanted this to be an issue that they could use to further a racist agenda are raging about that.
So you think the guards issued a statement with false information?Ah stop, it is an asylum seeker or refugee that did it. The protest march tells you that. This crime is directly related to the immigration shiteshow in this country.
What false information? So you think the guards issued a statement with false information?
It specifically said that "the investigation does not involve anyone seeking international protection".What false information?
How do I know what misinformation the gardai have an issue with that lead them to issue that statement? For all I know someone could have been named, or a picture or his nationality and that is what they are referring to.
Their statement is fairly vague tbf
Granted already? It specifically said that "the investigation does not involve anyone seeking international protection".
So it is not a refugee or asylum seeker.
Their lack of providing information actually contributes more to disinformation.
They're watching too much CNN100%
It's an extremely disturbing development for the police to be issuing what reads like a political PR statement.
A 'misinformation notice', ffs, issue a description or stfu.
Or maybe not an asylum seeker at all.Granted already?
God it really does make you so angry that you can't use this to give out about asylum seekers, doesn't it...100%
