If someone qualifies for refugee status then afaic they're welcome, as long as they behave themselves in their new host country. If however their application is rejected, then they should asked to leave immediately (with a possibility of review after a number of years). If they don't leave within a week of their decision then they should be forcibly removed never to darken our shores again.
I would also be for doing DNA tests on all immigrant applicants, not just fingerprinting them. Don't want to give your DNA? No problem, but you're not coming in. Simples.
