In the 80' around Greenmount and Barrack St area there used to be a lot of it Halloween night. The local shops wouldn't sell eggs to kids for the week or two before.

Used to go on during the 90s up the North side also, had totally forgotten about the shops taking it upon themselves not to sell them to kids though.

Getting egged was a regular Halloween occurrence.

At least one family member would arrive home a mess every year.

Residents reported that some of the youths were drinking, smoking, setting off fireworks, getting sick, breaking glass, and throwing items in the area.
