Planning a 10 day trip with herself in July. At the moment flying in and out of Santorini. Is 10 days too long there? Better breaking it up - was thinking of Naxos too?
don't want to do the full on island hopping thing as we have a long haul flight at the end of the 10 days so don't want to be moving every couple of days.
Not into big partying just few drinks, nice food

Way too long. I would spend three days max.

Agreed. Wouldn't stay on santorini too long. However I love naxos and Paros. You could start in santorini then to naxos then Paros and fly back from mykonos. Wouldn't stay there too long either.

Ps could spend a month on naxos no problem. Pace is slow and it's the biz if you want to relax

Santorini is quiet enough while Mykonos is livelier. After a couple of days lying on the beach the islands tend to give you "itchy feet" and you feel that you want to see the others.
Whatever floats your boat I suppose man!

Went to Ios in 1998....lovely island...not too busy...not too quiet...
