In relation to what you said Stevie G, I am a general music fan, yes house is my love, but like a broad spectrum of music nevertheless. But it's ridiculous for you to be comparing "Barbie Girl" and house, and "50 Cent" and hip hop. While yes i know "50 Cent" isn't hip hop, i think you'll agree there is alot closer relationship between the two than there is between fuckin "Barbie Girl" and Carl Craig.

Plus i have often heard "some djs" in cork playing some of the more known shit, that in my naive opinion i think is crap, and pass it off as a hip-hop night. I yet have to hear "Barbie Girl" being played in Audio or Go Deep or by myself etc.....

And I play a broad spectrum of music on my nights, some of which is pop music that i like (Timberlake, Nelly Furtado etc)

Go Deep plays pretty much specialist house music

You are not going to have a hip-hop night with 1000 people in it in Cork or indeed most places in the Wolrd

Believe i've been there and done that for years with nights that were more hip-hop orientated, in fact i was doing it when there were no hip-hop nights running around the country

anyway, those who know their hip-hop know that is a broad genre
