Future Cork Hurlers

O Regan has no chance of playing senior intercounty.
If he was the most disciplined committed lad in the country he would find it hard because he made it to adult level with that wrong hand grip.
Walter walsh is going to be the last ever senior hurler with the catching hand on top and he only survived because he is a giant tank of a man with some pace.

Lads who turn the hurley in cant even get to intercounty now..

Theres a lesson there for people who dont believe it matters what way kids hold a hurley.

It does.
Spot on, the most important gift you can give any kid playing hurling is a proper grip

Incredibly some still see this as a small issue not a game changer, I’ve witnessed former club hurlers tell kids it’s not an issue, I even had to go to one parent, who played a bit of inter county, and plead with him to encourage his son to change his grip, thankfully he listened

The bs about Robbie O Flynn over the last few pages is disgusting. To me when fully fit Robbie is a definite starter all day long, just remember the goal down the Pairc that led to his relapse, pure class. But whatever about his hurling ability to question his mental fortitude is beyond comprehension.

Some cork hurling supporters we have on here

No wonder Cork hurling is known for being too soft when we have so-called supporters on here worried about players who engage in social media even though they're not on the starting Cork 15. Some of those clowns told us in the past that Damien Cahalane could not be be dropped off the Cork team because not only was he a great player but he was also a leader.

Did you not post this in response the the abuse he was getting on Instagram?
He has to ignore those assholes and get on with it,
So-called supporters doing a hatchet job on a player at a low ebb on this forum are just bitter, pitiful freaks that the team can do with out.

Rebel, I gave up replying to that poster a few years ago, he was very quick to knock a young club mate of mine, even though the young fellas well known gaa father is a personal friend of his, according to himself anyway. So he has form, be wide, give him a wide berth
