The Bass Heavy Dubstep Night is starting up in Cork.Bringing you sick tunes and even sicker sound systems.Packing the serious Funktion One rig with the most crystal clear sound you can get. Acting as a hub for up coming local DJ's and producers. As well as occasional visitors from over sea's. We hold no punches when it comes to the bass it's as heavy as metal.

In the last 2 years we have played headline gigs in Dolans, Bakers, Crawdaddy, Button Factory, Lost Society and the Pavillion. We have performed at BUMP Fest, Mystic Fest, Life and supported such acts as Kanji Kinetic, Squires of Gothos and Rubber Bandits.

We bring a funktion one rig for all our gigs. It's just not the same without them.

I rent it from my mate Barry he's from Ennis. If your looking to get one call down and have a chat with him he will be there on the night. Here is a picture of his rig i think it was taken about a year ago he got some more stuff since then.

but the funktion one might change my mind..

very nice indeed. definitely a game changer for sound systems down Cork way.

i would be interested to see how the infamous vibrating floor in the liquid lounge copes with a Funktion One though to be honest. it used to be bad enough in there with just a normal system. having said that though perhaps nobody is using vinyl, so it might be grand.....

I thought Click brought in F1 to LL for their gigs.

Also thought the pic posted was hertz u soundsystem.

LL floor used only cause us significant problems when punters jumped "pogo", rather than howl issues. We were always able to fight the howl, but the jumps were a totally different story.

So I doubt sub bass will be a huge issue unless they bring in F1 infra.
