...you sexy thing.

Focusing on Lourdes in France...

"Five million people a year visit the shrine where 67 accepted miracles and more than 7,000 cures have taken place."

http://www.independent.ie/lifestyle/40-years-of-miracles-2641522.html

And if you don't believe, can a trip to Lourdes give someone enough comfort (that if their faith is strong enough) they might recover from an illness as a result of a sort of placebo effect?

Do you believe in miracles, or is it all a load of nonsense?

I travelled over years ago with my Nan.

Dipped her in the baths and did the ole evening walk pushing her along in her chair, everyone holding candles, it's quite beautiful.

Years later I reckon the only reason she wanted to go was to 'knock the boldness' outa me.

Whatever about miracles it was definitely a memory.

Did it help her out?

Be it physically or mentally...

No i don't believe in miracles.

however studies have shown, and i'm not going to look for them but i do remember seeing them when my Dad was diagnosed with cancer, that positive thinking and a sense of well being do aid in recovery.

So if you have a faith that gives you that by travelling to Lourdes, then that could be the explanation. thats what i think anyway.
