Cyclists

Drove through the city earlier.

The cyclists are moving through much quicker than cars and buses etc.

That's the point I guess.
I've noticed more people cycling, even in the cold weather.
The improvements in cycling infrastructure are getting people on their bikes.

cycling in cold wether is fine.. wear the right clothes and your fine... this ice at the moment is dangerous alright bit not to bad once your careful. .i usually walk to work as its only 3km but i cycled the last few mornings as the footpaths are leathal..

Was driving out the commons road tonight and a deliveroo cyclists skipped through 2 red lights. Not a big deal but had to overtake him thrice because of it. Also it was dark and a tiny bit foggy.
Did he have the lights on?

I was driving on the road next to Wilton shopping centre, at the penneys side by Wilton cabs and a cyclist comes up against me (narrow road, one way)
I had to swerve and he didn’t budge

Was driving down Douglas Street the other night and a Deliveroo cyclist was coming towards me but towards the centre of the road. I was a bit puzzled as to what he was at so proceeded with caution - he then without any indication or warning cycled right across the front of me down a side-street missing a serious collision by inches. He was probably high as a kite.

Crikey..freezing fog and some slippy spots out there this morning.
Please take care..whatever yoir chosen mode of transport is....but crazy to be a ped-cyclist or e-scooterist this morning.

Guess it all depends where you're coming from. I was expecting a white-out armageddon outside this morning given all the warnings but turned out the road was dry, my car was much less frosted than last week, and the footpaths were fine. ????

Now I don't know whether to believe Met Dublin's forecast for heavy wintery showers in Cork this afternoon

Drove out Blackpool very early this morning and my heater blower decided it wasn't in the mood to work...
Minus 7.

I blame SF.

I think we're escaping it more than the rest of the country. A lot of main & secondary roads are salted so looks like the council are on top of their job tbf.

Anyways back on topic. Some of the deliveroo cyclists are asking for it with poor quality or in some cases no lights on their bikes. Jeez if I was cycling at night I'd be lit up like a christmas tree.
