Better to be under the wheel of a bus instead of in the designated purpose built cycle lane I guess. Driver is brought up for manslaughter but you're either dead or physically disabled. So who won at the end of the day?

That's a dead-end argument. Best lock up your wives and daughters in case they get, raped, abused, assaulted or murdered.
At the end of the day, the bus driver is supposed to be the professional here, and he failed utterly in his duty of care, never mind breaking the law.

They will review the footage and will ask the cyclist why was he out so far from the kerb ?

They will notice the shit hot driving by the coach driver and they will congratulate him on how he manoeuvred his large vehicle around the little arrogant prick.

I mean what changed, when I cycled long ago no one wore lycra unless they were on the TV in the Tour De France or the Olympics.
We knew well back then to stay well away from cars neverlone trucks and buses, because you know why?

Because we had a thing called common sense, we knew to stay the fuck out of the way because if we didn't then we would come out the worst.

Nowadays that same common sense seems to have changed to entitlement and arrogance with footage recording and editing as necessary for sharing with like minded assholes.
