Nothing to do with what is being discussed.I know that its next years thats starting in January
That was last years final. They beat Nemo after extra time this year 2-9 to 0-14Bishopstown beat the Barrs in the Final 1-14 to 11 points
Probably a bit of a stretch based on a club U21 game. Didn't overly impress in senior club championship this year but has potential no doubt.Totally agree with all your report C Doolan was my man of the match, barrs hindered by goalkeepers puck out having to use the corner back to puck out meant an extra man out field for midleton.. Thought the referee was diabolical for both sides. Doolan worth a try with Cork ?
Bluesball has lost the run of himself, Ciaran is a great bit of stuff but to even mention him as a cork senior is nepotism of the highest orderProbably a bit of a stretch based on a club U21 game. Didn't overly impress in senior club championship this year but has potential no doubt.
Let's say one to watch at club level in 2025 and see from there.
What’s stopping him? Sham couldn’t even make the minor panel for cork and look at him now.Bluesball has lost the run of himself, Ciaran is a great bit of stuff but to even mention him as a cork senior is nepotism of the highest order
A very good summary of the game. Midleton were deserving of the victory. Barrs were only playing in fits and starts while Midleton were constantly plugging away. They'd have won by a few to spare in normal time if they weren't so wasteful with their wide count.Very entertaining game last night. Very close all the way through and the finishes in normal time and extra time made for great excitement. Ultimately though I was very disappointed with the standard. Maybe allowances need to be made for the late timing of this competition but given the big names on the pitch I was expecting a lot better. Midleton fully deserving winners. I thought they were marginally the better team for most of the game. They had 21(yes, 21) wides over the course of the game. Barr's themselves had 15 wides, 7 of which came from the stick of Ben Cunningham (6 from placed balls). Mind you he got one truly outstanding individual score towards the end which shows the potential. But ultimately he's not the player of 2 years ago. Needs to refind his true form. William Buckley for the Barrs was well marshalled and didn't have his usual influence. The Barrs best and most influential player last night was Ciaran Doolan. Fro Midleton, Smyth at centre back on Cunningham was quietly effective and Mikey Finn had a huge influence from midfield. Both sets of forwards disappointed overall with the Midleton top 6 plus subs getting 6 from play in 80 mins by my reckoning. The equivalent from play for Barr's was 5. All in all though, a good night's entertainment on a bitterly cold night on mid December. Now on to 2025.
What’s stopping anyone? I’ve been accused of blowing Young Barrs fellas up but I haven’t blown anyone up in the wrong and I’m not going to start nowWhat’s stopping him? Sham couldn’t even make the minor panel for cork and look at him now.
Ah here, don't you know Daire O Leary is going straight in at wing back next year, c'mon get with the programI wonder do some posters here even understand the levels you need to reach to be an inter county hurler? Names being thrown around like confetti, it’s hilarious
