Cork u20 Hurling 2024

Should be a good B final between Youghal and Ballinora.
I noticed in report of Ballinora semi final that Shane Kingston wasn't listed, injury I presume?

Been out since the Aghada game in football so missed the last 2 hurling games, not sure how far away he is from returning but not ligaments is my understanding.
Fingers crossed he has a quick recovery. He's a fine player. I'd love to see him on the UCC team for Fitz and use that as another stepping stone.

Kevin Lyons progess will also be interesting. Sean Brady would have been a big loss to Ballygarvan too yesterday I presume.

Why was Brady missing for Ballygarvan?

Wrong thread I know but I remember what killed it for Dillons was a Kildorrery player broke his leg with about 6/7 minutes to go and Dillons had got a bit of momentum at that stage. He was down a good 5 minutes and it killed the momentum.
I was at that game and the stoppage definitely impacted the game.

If Dillons had won with what was a young team I think they would gone up a few grades
Dillon’s would have progressed.
It’s a fascinating thing, losing a junior county final. It creates expectation and hope for the following years which often is unrealistic and doesn’t come to fruition. People in the club get carried away ignoring reality and all the lucky breaks of the ball that might have come their way. It knocks the stuffing out of a place for a while. I’ve seen that happen in several clubs
