Cork Minor Hurlers 2025

From the Minor team of 2017 Evan Sheehan looked the real deal injurys cost him i think and he did leave the country for a spell too i think.
Remember the goal he got in the All Ireland final...

Excellent cork minor team
The half back line is utterly dominant
the two midfieldes are exceptionally busy and the wing forwards essectially get the ball give it to Deane and get out of the way.
Deane is the real issue. Even though the cork full forward line was excellent Deane was the player that dragged the clare defence all over the place and created the opportunitys

The cork full back line got shredded but the two players who did that are exceptionally dangerous at this level
Murohy was injured and only came on at half time v tipp Rodgers was suspended and didnt play at all that day so the likelihood of tipp being good enough to beat ye is small

waterford will be interesting. They are not good to score but they are massive and very athletic.
It will be interesting to see what happens if they manage to get to grips with the half back line.
They will be able to go man for man physically with the cork half back line and not get pushed around which we couldnt which could upset things but i cant see it.

spain and power could cause cork a lot of problems in the full back line though which might give them a chance.

In the end winning or losing the minor doesnt matter a shite. All that matters is bringing through players each year that can compete with their peers

I think we should reflect carefully on even having a forum to comment on 15,16 year olds performances on a GAA pitch. Doesn’t seem right to me.. actually seems potentially very dangerous
Agree, but I think it’s ok once it’s kept goss-free and treading carefully with specific analysis on the players.
