Honestly thought the thread title was Cork metoo.
Which is why I'd avoided it.

So it begins, nimby gaa club going to obstruct. with a planning decision likely to take up to 2029 the inevitable judicial review by btown will delay it a further 2 years. well all be dead by the time this ever happens. will be the first project mothballed when the recession hits.

How long are they promising to fast track planning for critical infrastructure. FFG with 15 years in government between them. nothings substantially changed. this will almost certainly be delayed by judicial review

FF and the PDs were in power when the planning legislation was reformed in 01.

The one that meant you can opposite planning despite having no connection to a place and anf gave rise to professional objectors like those environmental consultants who were looking for cash to remove objections.
