For all those asking how ranking points will affect relegation in the intermediate Football grade.

2 Teams from the 6 below will be dropping to junior for 2020 season.

Adrigole, Youghal, Kildorrery, Mitchelstown, St. Finbarr's or Grenagh (Sept 8th)



Ranking points (2016 – 2019) in brackets:

Mitchelstown (305)

St. Finbarr's (130)

Kildorrery (90)

Youghal (40)

Adrigole (20)

Grenagh (10)

Using ranking points for seedings, if St. Finbarr's beat Grenagh then:

Round 1a; Mitchelstown v Adrigole,

Round 1 b; Kildorrery v Youghal.

Round 2; two losers of Round 1 enter a three-team group to play a Round Robin format with two matches each with the lowest ranked team, Grenagh.



Using ranking points for seedings, if Grenagh beat St. Finbarr’s then:

Round 1a; Mitchelstown v Youghal,

Round 1b; St. Finbarr’s v Kildorrery.

Round 2; two losers of Round 1 enter a three-team group to play a Round Robin format with two matches each with the lowest ranked team, Adrigole.



As we await a result from St. Finbarr’s v Grenagh, the earliest date for Round 1 will be the weekend of September 14th / 15th.

So it's a round robin of Adrigole, Youghal and Grenagh with 2 being relegated

Certainly looks that way from the scoring and the fact that Drom were down to 14 late on. Anybody at it? Seems a bit mad that extra time wasn't played?

could do with combining some divisions alright. Beara should be with carbery and Duhallow with muskerry for starters

Drom were wasteful went for goals early on in the second half and had bad wides on top of it.
DOC ran the show especially in the 1st half kicked one ridiculous score in the first half out around the 40.
Small pitch suited Bally.
Drom down 2 starters the next day any ones game

Too many clubs in Carbery as it is, more clubs need to be relegated back to Junior B to balance out the A grade..
