YipSound...just wondering what full back man you drop from the list.
Do also think Joyce was lucky.
All stars and nominations mean v little
in my view.Just a bit of banter.

Ya Joyce was very lucky. Played very well in the semi final win and had a very good patch towards the end of the final but generally I felt he wasn't at the same level as previous 2 years.Sound...just wondering what full back man you drop from the list.

David Blanchfield won't be far off tbh.Ya Joyce was very lucky. Played very well in the semi final win and had a very good patch towards the end of the final but generally I felt he wasn't at the same level as previous 2 years.
I think nominating Paddy Burke from Antrim was a bit of tokenism and also you could argue that O Leary had a better championship then both Limericks Dan Morrisey and Barry Nash.
As you said its only a bit of banter. The full backline is sewn up anyway it'll be
Hogan, E Downey, Leen
And rightfully so.
I’d be assuming Hogan has that in the bag? Would be delighted for Downey if he won it.Clare 8 Cork 4 Limerick 3 is what i predict R Downey,D Fitz and 2 out of Barrett,Harnedy and Hayes E Downey to win Young hurler.

It's a selection of journalists that pick the shortlist, not the GAA or GPAAlso, something not right about Kyle Hayes getting nominated for Hurler of the Year. It is Shane O' Donnell's award to lose and it also sends out the wrong message from the GAA/GPA.
Thanks for the actual facts but it’s easier to blame the GAAIt's a selection of journalists that pick the shortlist, not the GAA or GPA
Correct. It shows them up too. It's a selection of journalists that pick the shortlist, not the GAA or GPA
