Cork Hurlers - Part 2

Random thought but bear with me, Do you think darragh Fitz could start in the inside line? I know he’s very good on the run and picking off scores but he’s been struggling with the physicality and intensity of the modern middle 3rd battle and I think taking him out of that and putting him up where he has an eye for goal, pace to burn and great touch could reignite his IC career.
I don’t think it would work for him in there in a 2 man FF line. He’s at his best when he gets the ball facing up the field towards opposition goal. Playing inside would mean back to goal. It’s release him to CF for me with Coleman coming in MF.

Has to be worth a try he has a lotta class it might just work. Neither his club or county have got much return from him recently

Nonsense. He's the best club hurler in Cork for years only he's been injured for the last few weeks.

Don't think him inside would work at all anyhow. To me, he's a natural 11.

Trying him inside would be pointless in any case as we are certainly not short in quality in that area of the pitch.
