Cork Hurlers - Part 2

City Hurling is struggling. Too much competition with Football, Soccer and Rugby. No secondary school dedicated to hurling as it's primary sport.
Look at East Cork in comparison, St. Colmans and Midleton CBS and the clubs with one exception are all Hurling clubs. Hurling clubs in the city trying to be everything to everyone.

Barrs will win the County
 
Alan Connolly has had a year to forget in 2023.. hopefully back to full fitness for 2024. I think he can be a real leader in the Cork attack at number 14 if given a constant starting slot and an injury free run. Has that star quality as he’s shown so many times already
Himself Robbie O’Flynn and hoggie would be a serious ff line
Kingston and Jack O Connor coming on to finish if needed
 
Star players are the icing on the cake for any club side but in any sport at a high level the team has to carry the load rather than rely on a couple of players to get you through.

Very often the best club sides do not have a lot of county players but their players are all of a good standard.
