great second half, playing at home a defeat would have been bad for morale, obviously bigger tests to come, KK poor enough in 2nd half there-only scored 7pts and one or two were soft frees, Joyce really looks the part.
Great win all considered, only 7/8 points conceded in second half…..superb from lehane in fairness to him and also Alan Connolly who has jumped ahead of a a few and starts next day
Good one to win. Thought we had a lot of wides in 2nd half and we’d blown it. Not one for whinging about a ref normally but thought he had a compete mare tonight. KK last point at the end two KK lads on top of our full back who won the ball and one holding him and the other holding his hurley?? 1-13 to 8 pts in second half. Good recovery. Short passing game is hard to watch. It’s like living on the edge even when they have the ball. Nice to have a good run to the final. Be nice to win it too. Fair play.

Great stuff from Lehane, good to see Connolly back on form, a fella from the Rockies told me he could be the best full forward they ever produced. Must check his drugs
GPA wont be happy with Dara Fitz getting interviewed after match. Good win still alot of work to do , Kilkenny leaving the hurley in late all game but Cork should be moving ball faster. At times Cork backs are slow moving the ball out. Hopefully its something will improve on come championship.
Hard not to start Connolly now after that performance. Joyce oozes class. Lehane a man re born. We conceded two poor goals and it could have been more. O Leary had a groin injury according to Kingston TV interview afterwards - why start him if he was injured? Shane Kingston was absent for entire first half.
