Not his fault that day in fairness, but he is a bit small for intercounty. He was dreadfully poor in the Munster final 3 years ago

The blame there was on Ronan McCarthy. In what world was Ring going to be able to mark Sweeney. Not his fault that day in fairness, but he is a bit small for intercounty.
Would the footballers not try get in colin Walsh from Kanturk. He is goin to be no where near the hurling top 20 and could make a very good no 14 with footballers. He was dreadfully poor in the Munster final 3 years ago
Correct, has decided to go travelling as he is one of 3 who were left go from the panel. He was dropped. Had a few years in there and didn’t do enough to make the grade.
Excellent club player in both codes, was brilliant with Ricken’s U-20s the year the won the AI. He’s a man marker but struggles with marking players that are physically bigger.
Not a controversial decision to let him go imo.
Correct....putting him on Sweeney was the most thick stupid thing anyone could do....how did he think it was going to play out like....The blame there was on Ronan McCarthy. In what world was Ring going to be able to mark Sweeney.
Ring is a very good club player. Had some season this year. IC he is not but thanks for service all the same.
What kind of team are lads hoping to see out on Wednesday night.Hopefully some young blood esp for the Half Forward line which is a bit of a problem area esp in the scoring department.Correct....putting him on Sweeney was the most thick stupid thing anyone could do....how did he think it was going to play out like....
Saw Cashman twice this year in the new junior grade got roasted in the first viewing aging mullane of kilmurry and had to be whipped off with 20 remaining then got dragged around the pitch by one of the urhan players in bantry if that’s what our hopes of 2024 lie on let’s call it a day here and now mother of god there’s far better players out there and there are 4 more grades of players to pick from"target this time around will be divergent according to Cork manager John Cleary."
Echo article by Barry O Mahony today.
We used to say 'different' but in any case we can assume he will give a few young lads game time.
According to the Examiner Cashman and Maguire are high on the list of top performers in 2024.
