No. It was Killarney in 1981. I was there. Cork scored 0-3 in the entire game. Awful display. After the Morgan incident, Kehilly spent the rest of the game punching Liston at every opportunity. 1981 was Morgan's last MF I'm pretty sure.

We used to have a teacher that wouldn't talk to students that were injured and couldn't play for the school team. Showed where his priorities were!

It's an approach that was pioneered by Bill Shankly. It helped get chaps back in double-quick time.

How are the Cork lads performing so far in championship this weekend?

Great to see Liam OD back to his best, one of Corks best when fit. John Cleary will be delighted.

In terms of guys outside the Cork set up who might step up, the best I saw was Darragh Gough. Probably a big ask for an 18 year old to make the step up to senior intercounty but he seems to have the physicality for it. Maybe a year with the u20s but after that he looks to be nailed on as a future Cork senior.
