It’s a very average panel but the overall standard in division 2 especially with how a team adapts to the new rules gives lots of teams hope and potential, not sure of the management and coach can get the best out of them.
I always laugh when I hear people lament the state of football especially club football- it’s irrelevant to senior intercounty and has been for years, cork club football is no better or worse then the majority of counties.
Secondly if the county board are doing enough for football the football people in the county aren’t inanimate objects - they can actually do something if they wish like get involved for example, however the reason there isn’t a hullabaloo about cork football from cork football people is they are perfectly happy with how things are, once the west cork mafia have their clutches on selection for our various intercounty teams and their own clubs are a

Ed myers Naomh aban , Ian Jennings kilmac , eanna Desmond carraigaline , Tomas o mahony haven , Colin Walsh Kanturk and Sean Brady ballygarvan . Plus Colin Molloy and Brian hayes nemo all have a decent cut of football about them . They should be brought along with the current panel and see if they can come up to inter county level

Played and won a Sigerson with UCC 2/3 years ago...was on the extended U20 panel that win the AI in 2019

Worth a look at anyway . Minor set ups the last few years have been poor so would not take much notice of what's going on there

According to the echo, Briain Murphy and Colin molloy of nemo and Sean o forreidh and da Dinneen of cill na martra have been called up to the panel

2 more defenders i dont know where O forreidh plays hopefully midfield.

Sean Walsh of Mitchelstown has been in there. He’s a very good midfielder , was Colm O Callaghans midfield partner at u20 level a few years back
