Also young Jack O Neill of the Haven a very promising player ...

Few players who impressed me this championship are:

Alex Quirke - Carrigaline
Colm O Shea - Kilshannig
David O Connor - Boherbue
Jack McCarthy - Carrigaline
Jack O Neill - Castlehaven
Liam Wall - Kilmurry
Aaron O Sullivan - Aghabullogue
Eanna Desmond - Carrigaline
Anthony O Connor - Knocknagree
Mark Lenahan - Buttevant
David Griffin - Carrigaline
Ronan Dalton - Nemo Rangers
Gerry O Sullivan - Boherbue
Cian Dorgan - Ballincollig
Matthew Bradley - Aghabullogue
John Wigginton Barrett - St Finbarrs
Alan Walsh - Kanturk

And missing through injury that might make be worth a look:

Paddy Cronin - Bantry
Ed Myres - Naomh Aban

And players already in around panel who need more gametime:

Fionn Herlihy - Dohenys
Jack Cahalane - Castlehaven

Then from the hurlers:

Brian Hayes - St Finbarrs
Conor Cahalane - Castlehaven

12 years now since a Cork all star, Maybe in that time only Ian Maguire, Brian Hurley and Powter have reached All star standard.
Mind Armagh didnt have one since 2008

Yerra, the all stars have been a total joke for many many years now. Very few seriously consider the selection to be the selection of the best footballers. If (say) all of the footballers in Ireland were all fit and available to play against (say) Australia in a match under GAA football rules, would the management team pick these 15? - ah no!

Of course those selected on the all stars are among the best footballers and some of them have indeed been the very best this year, and congratulations to all of them on their achievement.

That’s all grand but unfortunately they are 100% correct not to have given an all star to a cork man in the last 12 years, unfortunately not even one comes close to mind in that period of time
