Paudie Kissane leaves role as Éire Óg football boss
Cork's 2010 All-Ireland winner departs the Ovens club after six seasons
What do mean playing a lovely brand of football, they been in the relegation final for the 2 years he was in charge by himself. The county board couldn't afford him.I hope Cleary can find a role for Kissane with the senior team next year. Our current team can learn a lot from a man who actually has experience of winning with Cork and not just another ‘yes man’ for the county board. He had Eire og playing a lovely brand of football and they were unlucky to go down this year..![]()

Apparently kissane was with millstreet the year just gone aswel and theyve been absolutely abysmal, not sure how much of a role he had there thoMust be a piss take!
Eire Og averaged 10 points a game this year in 4 championship outings just simply trying to get them playing like Cylda Rovers.
Absolutely NO WAY is Kissane an addition for the Cork Senior footballers.
I agree re the Eire Og point, but that’s unfair criticism pointed at milstreet to suggest they don’t work as hard.Eire og were a brilliant side to watch when PK coached them to the PIFC and SAFC a couple of years ago? Not sure what went on with Milstreet this year but I imagine it’s tough for him to get a tune out of a group of junior footballers who don’t match his intensity. I still think he has something to offer Cork football and would be better than some of the bluffers currently involved with our county team…
it’s unfair but in fairness, sometimes the truth hurts, there is plenty evidence to back up his point about themI agree re the Eire Og point, but that’s unfair criticism pointed at milstreet to suggest they don’t work as hard.
Few players who impressed me this championship are:Always after County Championships you think who new would be worth a look at with the county team...i have to say for me two lads i was impressed with in yesterdays finals were David Griffin with Carrigaline now i know he was with the hurlers a spell won a Munster u21 huling medal played in the All ireland u21 final..will be 28 next year but is he worth a look at ? Also young Jack O Neill of the Haven a very promising player ...
