Flynn is a major handful but he’s probably the biggest pain in the hole at the same time as he does some crazy shit.Agree totally with you. Excellent team display but looked shocking porous.. the only thing to factor is that Danny Flynn is probably the true best forward in the country.
Very good win from Cork after a poor first half. Walsh’s goal set them away. The defence did look shaky under long deliveries which makes me wonder why we don’t try something similar. No defence is overly keen on the chaos caused by a long, direct delivery. Not all the time, just the odd time to keep teams honest.
Deane’s direct running helped stop the lateral play that was an issue in the first half. Corbett is excellent, a rangey player with an eye for goal which is what you want. Too much safe hand passing the ball over the bar but he doesn’t want any of that unless he’s stuck. If we are going to upset the odds more often we will need goals.
