Bonfire Night

Never heard of it here. Is this another cork thing?

Funnily enough no , but it doesn't happen as much as it used to anymore.

All started back in Pagan times when the kings of munster threw a big feast and wanted to celebrate all across the land including up northern direction , so they kept fires burning brightly all around.

Well thats what me father told me years ago , having a werthers moment again it seems

you know it as St John's eve.

sure I've lived in London since I was a nipper and I've herd of it.
