Batsh*t Crazy Green Party

Dan Boyle used to post here before AFAIK, presumably he was hounded off the forum by the likes of Drunker.
He is quite active on Twitter and you see the same idiots there trying to hound him with their petty bullshit. All hiding from anonymous accounts too.

Some people live in the shadows and prefer to spend their time giving out and hounding people, much like the usual idiots on this thread or the cyclist's thread. Others like Dan Boyle have their principles and if you agree or disagree with him, at least he has infinitely more courage than the pond scum.

It is when it conflicts with the greater good of humanity, is the bottom line of BP, Shell etc more important than preventing run away climate change?
The excess profits of those companies is a scandal. And it needs to be tackled. But all business deserve the full protection of the law to carry out legitimate business operations. And airlines flying into Dublin are being failed by the Minister and the Government now.

Meanwhile in the next few weeks we will have Joe Biden visiting this country, imagine the scenes if Dumplin airport is closed due to a drone while AF 1 is on final approach to land there.

That fucking spacer Eamonn Ryan would be more concerned about a dirty bike lane in the leafy suburbs of South Dumplin.

What a joke of a Minister.

The yanks won’t need any legislation before they shoot it down.

The issue with the drones is a joke, agreed.

The bottom line is most of what any CEO cares about. Doesn’t matter if it’s Ryanair or Dunnes Stores. Bottom line isn’t a dirty phrase.

Legacy Airlines like Air France, and Lufthansa, are lobbying hard to have long haul flights exempted from environmental taxes. In theory, you could book a holiday in Mauritius with IAG Ireland, and pay zero environmental tax.

But someone flying short haul point to point within the EU is expected to pay carbon taxes?

That’s like giving a state subsidy to Mercedes buyers and funding it with a higher tax on Fiats.
