Bar in kent station

Lads, was there at one time,or am i imagining it, that there was a bar in kent station?
I thought there was a bar/restaurant there at one stage, and could swear i drank pints there waiting for a train!!
Era im thinking of is late 80's??

last time I was in there a fella went berzerk, threw pint glasses at the staff and other customers, went behind the bar to attack a member of staff and tried throw an examiner sign throughthe ticket window... it had shit food anyways. you'd be better off eating a homelesses toejam.

It was still there in the early nineties, a place of last resort for sure. It was like something from The Twilight Zone or Sapphire & Steel, time had stopped and everything was oddly stale

Good Friday you had to have a train ticket to get past the Bouncer on the door. They would sell hundreds of tickets for little island, and at the end of the Day people would look for a refund saying they had changed their minds and not travelled.
Every alco and bum from Cork and beyond would be in there.
