2024 Premier Intermediate Football Championship

Have to agree. Think Iveleary will win this grade next year. Very strong side battled hard today, Kilshannig just never gave in wouldn’t say that Iveleary bottled it at all
I also agree, for a lot of that game yesterday Iveleary looked a senior team. Unfortunately they tired and started fouling a lot. Anyone who knows Kilshannig will be well aware that they never give up and will battle to the end. They also have some serious operators all through the team, the O Hanlons, O Sullivans, O Shea, Curtin, Cunningham amongst them are already senior players aided by two or three recent county minors. There was no bottle job yesterday, on another day they would have won that game, and will probably win this division soon.

Bit harsh tbh. Cathal Vaughan has been crippled with injuries the past number of years a bit sad to be referenincing that he has been a great servant to us and it was not Chris Og, wouldn't call the likes of Brian Cronin and Barry O Leary nothing they are great club forwards and servants to us. We're only a small club in fact half a parish we have to join up with Kilmichael to field a lot of our underage teams, we are punching so much above our level and for that I'm proud of the lads.

Ran the all ireland finalists at intermediate level last year rapid for 50 minutes last year, no shame in running out of legs in that. Would have won today's game only for being down to 13 for the last number of minutes no shame in that. Inches away from being a senior A club the last two years absolutely 0 shame in that.
They were 4 up with 4 play. They were only down to 13 men only after conceding the free kick for the equaliser and full time whistle went then so it’s not like being down to 13 had any impact on giving away that lead.

Game was in the melting pot until the red and black cards, Kilshannig probably better balanced overall, what looked like sour grapes from Iveleary caused a shemozzle at the final whistle, probably the two best teams in the championship

Kilshannig probably the best team but I wouldn't rule out aghabullogue beating them in the final was very impressed by the way they got over iveleary and should have won by a lot more on the night with the amount of goal chances they missed. Iveleary have next to nothing coming through in the next 5 years so you'd have to wonder was this there best chance to get out of this grade.

We actually have 4 to 5 very good players coming thoroug over the next 2 or 3 years.

I taught Aghabullogue were a lot more impressive against Iveleary than Kilshannig.. Wouldn't be surprised with a Aghabullogue win Saturday week

Should have won by a lot more against iveleary only for some poor finishing in front of goal and agree with you kilshannig didn't look overly impressive against the inchigeela men but they still beat them when it looked all over and you'd imagine that game will be of massive benefit to them.
