2024 Premier Intermediate Football Championship

How did Colm Gillespie play? He looked a great prospect a couple of years ago

I thought he was excellent. I’ve seen them play a good bit last few years cos there’s a lad at work plays for them. He’s really after stepping it up this year.

The year away from the cork u20s seems to have done him the world of good. He’s underage next year for it and i’d be amazed if he isn’t starting.

Great athlete and a lovely kicker as well.

Great to hear ?

Kilshannig v Iveleary should be a cracker. Amazingly both teams met in the Cork Junior A county semi final in 2019. Here they are 5 years later up against each other again in a Premier Intermediate County Semi Final. I'm just going to slightly tip Kilshannig (maybe North Cork bias) as the O' Hanlon's are finding form again, Bill Curtin is back and Colm O' Shea might be the man to marshal Chris Óg Jones albeit no easy task.

Aghabullogue just did enough to see out Naomh Abán. Fair play to the Ballyvourney outfit for having a very positive campaign. Aghabullogue like both Kilshannig and Iveleary are a team on the rise. I enjoyed watching their quick counter attacking football last year and I'm sure Ray Keane is doing a good job of them this year.

Kilshannig scope through.
They got 4 points in the last 3 minutes to send it to extra time.
Deserved it in extra time but it's a game iveleary left behind them

They have a habitat of leaving games behind them
I looked all over.
I even saw a few kilshannig people leaving with a few mins to go. But credit kilshannig. They kept going.

The referee didn't help himself by going whistle crazy also. Was throwing out yellow cards to both sides for very little I thought.

Iveleary completely bottled that game but have to give credit to kilshannig they showed great fight to pull it out of the fire. Two years now iveleary have collapsed but this one tops the game they lost to cill na matra last year.
