2024 Premier Intermediate Football Championship

Great game of football and credit to both teams . Looked like Aghabulloge were going to pull away when 5 points up after 43mins but great comeback by Kilshannig to go two up only to trail by 3 again going into injury time ..

I think both sides will have learnt alot about each other's style of play and tactics yesterday and there will be alot of video analysis during week to set up for the replay .

Only downside to a final ending in a draw is that it's an anti climax for supporters but more importantly the players and management and would it be better just to have it finished on the day ?
Kerry managers for both teams? Might have something with the type of football played by both!

Kilshannig have been on the rise and playing good stuff for the past 5 years to be fair. However I do think Ray Keane has had a big impact on Aghabullogue and they have gone up a level or 2 this year. You wouldn't have predicted they'd be winning PIFC at all 2/3 years ago I don't think.

Hard to call a winner tomorrow, as stated above two kerry managers so could come down to who has learnt more from last weekend. Will go Killshannig by 2pts 🙈

If that's the result, then bring a few more of them across the border. It was a savage game of football.
Minor sidenote but 2 of the best club games I've ever seen in Cork were the drawn game and the 2017 or was it 2018? PIFC Final between Mallow and Michaels, which also had 2 Kerry men as managers. Mallow snatched that one by 1 in a brilliant high scoring game.

Great result for kilshannig. Better team in first half but completely shut up shop 2nd half. Very frustrating to watch. Fair play Aghabullogue. Tried till the end. Just kilshannigs day.
No doubt they'll be there or thereabouts next season.
