I agree Corkonian. The games this weekend in HQ were poor. However I think overall we’ve had a very good club championship. I’ve been to games from Senior down to Junior A since the start of August and have been impressed with the skill levels, physicality and intensity, relative to the grade in question.Anyone thinking the standard of hurling is superior in the modern game should have been at the 4 games in the Pairc last weekend, watched from Rebels online or just the Sars v Rockies on TG4 Sunday which was an eyesore. Newcestown v Killeagh was also very poor, Imokilly v Douglas a mis-match and we saw a decent 1st half between Charleville and the 'Barrs.
