Imokilly have broken no rules, just played by them .
So my question still stands ..

If imokilly didn’t come through their section like say , carbery or muskerry , then imokilly would not be even mentioned here as “galacticos “ etc etc.
same in the camogie championship … the “big” clubs crapping themselves , poaching players from all 4 corners of the island to try and beat the “galacticos” of seandun camogie..

Why does everyone equate misgivings about divisional sides playing in the county championship with them actually winning it? It has fuck all to do with it

Why the anger towards big clubs? They are big clubs because of the work they put in to their kids year after year, get over yourself. Imokilly have won 6 or 7 county titles, the Barrs, Glen and the Rockies combined have won 84, add in Midleton and Sars and you are at the 100 mark, Imokilly are the last thing those clubs worry about

No need for any more motions if every team entered in the competition done so under the same rules

Go way ya langer, we won the premier senior hurling title last year with 34 out of 35 home grown Barrs men

We reached the all ireland senior football semi final the year before and at a guess we also had just 1 player who didn’t come through our system

The Barrs have 100 players on their 3 Senior panels, 4 of them are not home grown players, yet you are harping on about the Barrs and their outside players? Obsessed much?

What about the lads or lassies who move here for work, do they have to drive back to their home clubs maybe 2/3 hours away to play because you don’t want them playing with the big bad Barrs? Should they join poor Imokilly or Seandun instead?

Ah lads, Divisions are only doing what the Big 3 in The City were doing for years and years (wining 50/60 County Titles at least) cherry picking the best players from each of the smaller clubs and playing them. Can't see an issue, its whats always been done is it not ?

Never thought of that. If Senior A clubs were allowed play with their divisions you could have Imokilly A v Imokilly B in the county final.
